So it’s the summertime in the beautiful Temecula Valley. You are ready to have that ultimate pool party for your kids and you want someone to provide DJ service for your party, but unfortunately you are having a very difficult time finding someone who you think will fit the slot to be interactive with your children.
After all if you don’t know a DJ, you are trying to find one by way of the Internet, or word of mouth. Although word of mouth is almost a “Safe Bet” it is not guaranteed that the referred DJ specialist will meet the criteria needed to keep your children entertained.
Here in Temecula, we are so populated with DJ’s but not really DJ services… (Reputable Services that is) So, you are probably asking, how do I know who is the best DJ for my party? The answer is really not that easy, but because I am a nice guy, I will give you some tips for choosing the right DJ or Entertainment Company.
Be careful of these “Wild” monikers that most DJ’s label themselves under as well as promote themselves as. For example, “DJ Viper” or “DJ Blunt” probably would not be the wisest names to have an important party associated with. A DJ should sell a service as opposed to a “metaphor”.
· Look for entertainment companies and services that have a profile and a resume… They should have an online presence. Although an online presence does not represent the quality of service, it does, show how much time and effort that a service is putting into being found. Look for photos of the DJ interacting with children at different events. Look, for keywords within their profiles. A DJ may not specifically tell you that they specialize in “Childrens” party, however talk to them and find out if they are “Family engaging”
· Beware of Craiglist DJ’s. I have promoted myself on Craigslist several times, but because of the “Low level” quality of DJ’s that are on this site, I have elected not to do it any longer. Most of the time, you will find “Cheap” DJ’s on this site. So these are the DJ’s that really doesn’t put the time in effort in promoting nor are they in it for the long haul. However, you can really find an “Affordable” DJ by searching online. Most DJ’s that I know, including me, have a genuine love for people and music. So more than likely if you call, and explain your budget, most of us will be willing to work with the you. So therefore, we are offering you affordable service as opposed to cheap service.
